Resume / LinkedIn Profile
· · ·
What I have learned, is that people write resumes based on what they think they do and companies write job descriptions based on what they think they need. My job is to help the two things match up.
How do I know how to match it up? I have written 100's of job descriptions (and interviewing programs and onboarding programs) for companies. As a compensation consultant, I advise Boards and C-Suite (from Fortune 50 to startups) on compensation, career paths and org structures. I use my background to help my clients understand how to leverage their skills and experience on their resumes, identify career paths and find the right companies/cultures that align with their goals.

Besides making a resume faux pas, people don't know HOW to write a resume. What is the right way to describe your role so it makes sense to the company? Which milestones make sense to select? How should a milestone be described? Of course, there are the litany of questions that need to be answered as well - What is your brand? How does your brand come across? How do we get the reader to glance down the entire page? How do we make sure you don't seem over/under qualified? How do we address sensitive career issues (being laid off, lateral promotions, demotions, etc.) or what if you want to change careers - what should the resume say in that situation?
Because I've actually designed the programs your resume is geared to, I can help you create a blockbuster resume that gets noticed. I know exactly what hiring managers are looking for and I understand how to help you sell yourself.
Resume and LinkedIn Review/Development = $500
I've learned one important lesson - you can't update a resume and NOT do LinkedIn - they go together.

Using either your existing resume or a resume questionnaire that you complete, I will create a blockbuster resume that highlights your key milestones and sets the stage for the roles you desire. You will receive a word and pdf version. Includes 2 half-hour calls to discuss the resume.
LinkedIn Profile Review
80% of jobs are still filled through networking. And the first things companies do? They check out your LinkedIn profile. The story you tell is critical to getting the first interview. Make sure your profile stands out, gets you noticed by the right people and promotes your brand.
Let's Work Together
To be a good resume, it needs to regurgitate what you have done. To be a GREAT resume, it needs to set you up for where you are headed.
When I work with individuals to
update resumes/LinkedIn, I like to:
- Schedule an intake call (about 1 hour) to discuss your career history, what you have liked and not liked, and your career goals,
- Update your resume using any information you have already gathered from other versions or having you complete a career questionnaire to provide me with details,
- Have you review the resume and answer any additional questions to ensure it is positioned appropriately,
- Provide you with a final version in both word and as a pdf; and
- Send you with an updated LinkedIn profile summary and other feedback to update your profile.
